easy access to parks and attractions near carlsbad beaches

I truly enjoyed my stay at this hotel, especially since it was just a short stroll to Poinsettia Park, where I loved walking through the lush greenery, and only a bit over 2 km to the vibrant Flower Fields that offered stunning views perfect for a leisurely afternoon.

Families get decent service here

The breakfast is decent but crowded and it was great that they offer free parking on site! Plus, the room we got was pretty clean and had all the essentials we needed.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but you get what you pay for, I guess.

Great family suite with bunk beds. freeway noise made it hard to sleep.

However, the property felt like it was in need of updates, with poor lighting and an outdated appearance that detracted from the overall experience. The cleanliness could also be improved, as our room had a stale odor upon arrival. While the proximity to attractions was ideal, it was disappointing to see how crowded the breakfast area became due to overflow from a nearby property.

Enjoyed our stay here, especially the spacious room perfect for our family! The pool provided great relaxation after our day at Legoland. Staff were helpful, though be prepared for occasional keycard issues. Try the breakfast. it had delicious options that kept us fueled for our adventures!

i had a lovely stay at la quinta. the staff were super friendly and helpful. the breakfast had a great variety, hot and ready to go, just a short walk from my room. the location is perfect, only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach! plus, the fitness center has a stationary bike and an elliptical, which was nice.

Loved making waffles for breakfast with the kids! The room was clean and quiet, perfect for our Legoland trip.

Spacious room, comfortable bed, with a big selection for the free breakfast that catered to everyone’s tastes and was topped off by a convenient outdoor swimming pool to relax in after a busy day of exploration.

the breakfast was amazin! so many options n the staff kept it clean n replenished. our king suite was really spacious, perfect for fams with kids. they even provided housekeeping when we didn't ask for it, which was super appreciated.

the shower left a lot to be desired n the air conditioning had a weird smell when we turned it on.
